Jammu, Dec 18: Pakistani troops targetted Noushera sector in Rajouri district with mortar bombs last evening causing no damage on Indian side, official sources said here today. Pakistani troops fired 65 mortar bombs on Bareri area of Noushera sector between 1500 hours to 2000 hours yesterday, the sources said, adding that Indian troops also retaliated effectively. There was no loss of life or damage reported on the Indian side so far while any casualty on the Pak side could not be ascertained, they said.
Intermittent small arms firing was also reported between the two sides along the international border at Pindi and Pital border outposts in Jammu district during the last 24 hours, the sources said. Bureau Report
