Patna, July 19: A retired bank officer and his servant were found dead in their flat on the outskirts of the state capital today. Shayam Kishore Prasad, retired official of Punjab National Bank, and his 15-year old servant Sanju were suspected to have been suffocated to death with pillows by dacoits, police sources said.
The bodies, which did not have any external injury marks, were spotted when a force from Agamkuan police station broke open the lock after local residents complained of foul smell coming from the house, the sources said.
The murder was apparently committed three-four days back and the assailants put a lock on the door from outside to make people believe that nobody was inside, the sources said. Bureau Report
