Datia (Mp), Nov 07: Ruling out any truck with expelled BSP leader Phool Singh Baraiyya for Madhya Pradesh Assembly polls, BJP's star campaigner Uma Bharti today said no talks were being held with his Samata Samaj Party. "BJP has no plan to enter into any electoral understanding with Baraiyya's new party. No party leader has held any discussion with him on any issue", the firebrand BJP leader told reporters here.
To a query, Bharti said BJP's electoral prospects would not be affected in case of an alliance between the ruling congress and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP).
"Congress and BSP will not be able to prevent BJP from regaining power in the state even if they fight the elections jointly," she said.
Accusing the Congress government in the state of violating election code of conduct, she alleged that officials and employees are being transferred with back-dated orders.
"Though large-scale misuse of official machinery by congress is apprehended, we have full faith in the election commission," Bharti said.
Replying to another question, BJP's chief ministerial nominee said she would file her nomination only from Bada Malehra Assembly constituency in Chhattarpur district and would not opt for any other seat.
On BJP candidates' list, Bharti said delay in announcing remaining nominees was part of a well-thought poll strategy in which committed partymen would be given due importance.
Two or three non-BJP leaders quitting other parties may be given tickets in exceptional cases, she said.
