New Delhi, Apr 04: Congress today accused the BJP-led coalition of shielding activists and leaders of the Sangh Parivar, including vhp, despite admission by them of their involvement in the demolition of Babri Masjid and in the aftermath of Godhra incident. "In spite of admission of VHP leaders that the organisation was responsible for the demolition of the Babri Masjid and also claiming responsibility of the communal violence in Gujarat, no action has been taken against them,” party spokesman S Jaipal Reddy told reporters.
He said that it was time prime minister should clarify whether there was rule of law in the country.
