Gwalior, Feb 15: India and America will undertake a joint exercise on airforce to exchange views on the flight techniques of fighter planes of both the countries. Spokeperson of American airforce Major James W La told newsmen that the exercise which begins from tomorrow will endeavour to understand the working of American war plane Eagle and India's MIG, Mirage and Sukhois.


''This would be third attempt in the joint exercise series,” he said. Major James said such bilateral exercises had been undertaken with other countries including England, Australia, Japan and Korea. On a question he said no such exercise had been carried out with Pakistan.

He exuded confidence that the joint exercise would harvest benefit for both the countries.
