Jammu, May 05: The BJP in Jammu and Kashmir today termed as "ridiculous" State Congress chief Ghulam Nabi Azad's charge that the NDA government had proposed a dialogue with Pakistan without doing "proper homework" and in turn blamed the Congress for the Kashmir dispute. Holding the Congress responsible for "all the troubles" in Jammu and Kashmir, BJP spokesman in the state Dr Hari Om said, "Some of them include rejection of Maharaja Hari Singh's offer of accession of J&K to the Indian dominion and its subsequent acceptance when the valley-based National Conference chief and a votary of Switzerland-type independent Kashmir, Sheikh Abdullah communicated his no objection." He also described as "silly" Azad's suggestion that Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee ensure that the proposed talks with Islamabad are "held on the terms and conditions of India." Bureau Report
