Rawalpindi, Mar 16: Pakistan, aiming to square the five-match series, amassed a mammoth 329 for six against India in the second One-Dayer at the Pindi cricket stadium here today. Electing to bat first after winning the toss, the Pakistani openers Yasir Hameed and Shahid Afridi sent the Indian bowlers on a leather hunt as they took complete control of the match. It was only in the middle Overs that the Indian spinners and then Ashish Nehra, who overcame his sore knee to take three wickets, pulled the match back for India. But Shoaib Malik and Abdul Razzaq chipped in with valuable and brisk contributions of 30 and 31 respectively in the final Overs to take the total to 329.

India, already one up in the series, will need to score at 6.6 runs an over if they are to extend their lead.

Brief scores:< BR> Pakistan 329 for 6 (Yasir Hameed 86, Shahid Afridi 80) Vs India (Ashish Nehra 3 for 44, Yuvraj Singh 2 for 41)
