New Delhi, Sept 03: The Cabinet Committee on Security will be meeting here today to discuss the recent spurt in terrorist violence in the country and to clear some long delayed armaments deals.
The committee meeting was scheduled to be held last week but was put off due to the pre-occupation of the Prime Minister for his visit to Jammu and Kashmir.
The defence deals which are likely to come up for clearance are Indian Air Force's acquisition of 66 advance jet trainers and a Scorpio Submarine deal.
