New Delhi, Nov 02: Police have busted a betting racket on the India-Australia one-day international match held in Mumbai yesterday and arrested four persons in this connection.
New Delhi, Nov 02: Police have busted a betting racket on the India-Australia one-day international match held in Mumbai yesterday and arrested four persons in this connection.
Rajiv Arora, Manoj Arora, Nitin Kumar Chugh and Suresh Chand were arrested from Dilshad Garden in East Delhi yesterday for betting on the match, police said today.
Recoveries made from them included mobile phones, television, tape recorders, calculators, chargers, digital stopwatches and ear phones, they said.
A Maruti Esteen car was also recovered from their possession, police said adding they also sealed a flat in the area which allegedly had been bought with the proceeds of betting money.
