Jehanabad, Jun 01: Three hardcore Peoples War (PW) ultras were arrested from Kokrasha village of Bihar's Jehanabad district late last night, police said today. Acting on a tip off, police raided the village under Hulasganj police station and arrested three PW activists while the zonal commander of the outfit Praduman Sharma managed to escape, District Superintendent of Police Anil Kishore Yadav told a news agency.

The arrested have been identified as Niranjan Sharma, Anil Prasad and Sanjay Sharma, he said adding police were looking for them in connection with many criminal cases.

Two rifles, a country made pistol and a large quantity of ammunition were recovered from them, he said adding further raids were being conducted.
