Beersel (Belgium), May 19: Justine Henin-Hardenne, who has not played for six weeks, said yesterday she would defend her French Open title at the season's second grand slam tournament which starts at Roland-Garros next Monday. Henin-Hardenne, who has been battling a virus similar to glandular fever, won her third grand slam title in a year at the Australian Open in January, but has played just one clay court tournament this season at Amelia Island in Florida where she lost in the semi-finals. "If I'm going to Roland-Garros it's because I believe I have a chance of successfully defending my title," she said.
