Gujarat police arrest 12 persons, seize several crude arms
Ahmedabad, June 27: Police have arrested 10 persons and seized several country-made arms from numerous sensitive pockets during combing operations to ensure peace during the annual Rathyatra procession on July 1.

and seized several country-made arms from numerous sensitive
pockets during combing operations to ensure peace during the
annual Rathyatra procession on July 1.
City crime branch also arrested two persons yesterday and
recovered country-made arms, official sources said here today.
Police teams conducted surprise raids based on specific
information in highly sensitive pockets of Viramgam town,
Taiwada, Paanchakla, Kasampura, Setwaad and others and
arrested the 10 in combing operations conducted during the
past two nights, officials said.
Among the arms recovered include nine country made
Tamanchas, six cartridges of 12 and .32 bore guns each, and
one small firearm of .32 bore, they said.
Those arrested were identified as Mehboobbhai Mandali, Ibrahim Mansuri, Jilanibhai Sipai, Alladin alias Bavro Sipai, Mohammed Kalubhai Sipai, Hussainbhai Sindhi, Alim Mohammed Ghanchi, Yasinbhai Rasoolbhai, Gagubhai Sindhi, Mehboombhai Michana.
