Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday said his government would abide by the Supreme Court directive with regard to the trial of Union Ministers L K Advani, M M Joshi and Uma Bharati for their alleged involvement in the demolition of the Babri mosque at Ayodhya.
We will abide by the apex court orders in Ayodhya case, he said.
Singh was replying to reporters' queries regarding issuance of notices by the Supreme Court on two writ petitions challenging the Allahabad High Court order quashing framing of charges against the three Union Ministers and some others in the Ayodhya case.
Later he told reporters in Lucknow that the state government would respond to the notices issued by the apex court in this connection and would wait for its orders.
