Srinagar, June 09: Jamaat-e-Islami, a dominant constituent of Hurriyat Conference, today accused Jammu and Kashmir government of violating court orders by not setting free detenues whose release had been ordered by the courts. "The government did not release any of the detenues set free by the courts including Mohammad Ashraf Sahrayee, Mohammad Ashraf Laya, Shakeel Ahmad Bakshi, Mohammad Yousuf Mujahid and Masrat Alam," Jamaat spokesman Zahid Ali said in a statement here.
This amounted to "denial of justice", he said.
