Shimla, June 28: Rains lashed several areas of Himachal since yesterday. Shimla and its surrounding areas recorded 6.2 mm rain till this morning and temperature in the town dipped to 23 degrees. Associate director of Regional Fruit Research Centre at Mashobra, S P Bharadwaj said highest rainfall during the month of June was 481.9 mm in 1973 while lowest rainfall of 32.2 mm was recorded in 1980.
