Kerala Congress (J) agrees to LDF appeal
Kochi, June 05: The Kerala Congress(J) chairman P J Joseph today said that his party had agreed to the Left Democratic Front appeal to accommodate the KC(J) faction, led by P C George, MLA, in the alliance.
Kochi, June 05: The Kerala Congress(J) chairman P J Joseph today said that his party had agreed to the Left Democratic Front appeal to accommodate the KC(J) faction, led by P C George, MLA, in the alliance.
Addressing a press conference after the state committee meeting of the party here, Joseph, who was education minister in the erstwhile LDF government, reiterated that he was prepared to face any inquiry into allegations of corruption levelled against him in the allotment of plus two schools by P C George.
KC(J) general secretary P C George, MLA was recently suspended from the party for anti-party activities.
Terming the charges as baseless, Joseph said: "It is a political trick aimed at tarnishing my image."
He claimed that the KC(J) had not suffered any split and said a few people had resigned from the party.
