A consortium of companies has
announced the launch of "3G Telecommunications Limited", an
international R&D and services centre, headquartered in Bangalore,
where it plans to make an investment of USD 50 million over
the next five years.
The new venture, floated by Entitysoft Corporation

commence operations this month, senior company executives told
a news conference in Bangalore on Saturday night.
The company has projected a revenue of USD 300 million in the next five years. It is starting off with 70 people, and CEO of Manvish Infotech, A S Manjunatha, said it would be ramped up to 5000 people by the year 2010. CEO of Entitysoft, T Niranjan, said the new company would encompass research, development, solutions and services under one umbrella for developing products, services and solutions using 3G technologies.
Niranjan said the company would develop prototype model for total 3G end-to-end operations, catering to the next generation mobile communication systems using hand held devices. "3G Technologies and R&D on 4th generation requirements would be guiding forces", he said.
