Sonepat(Haryana), June 16: Sonepat city and its surrounding areas were rattled by a mild earthquake last night, official sources said. The tremors occurred at 8.30 pm and lasted a few seconds. People in some areas rushed out of their homes when the doors and windows of their houses started rattling. No loss of life or damage to property from any part of the district has been reported.
