Musharraf expresses satisfaction over India-Pak ceasefire

Discussing his recent initiatives and the Indian response
with the Corp Commanders of the Army, Musharraf expressed
satisfaction that the ceasefire on the line of control
(LoC ) had been reciprocated by India and was holding to-date,
an official statement here said.
Speaking at the army headquarters in Rawalpindi, Musharraf said Pakistan took the decision of opening the air space and establishing air link as well as allowing overflights to India as a goodwill gesture.
The conference, attended by all corps commanders and principal staff officers, discussed in detail the situation along the LoC, working boundary and international borders, the statement said.
The commanders also exchanged the internal security situation.
Defence spokesman Maj. Gen. Shoukat Sultan said the initiatives with India were discussed as a matter of routine.
