Los Angeles, July 08: No charges have been filed yet against basektball star Kobe Bryant who`s been accused of sexual misconduct. The Los Angeles Lakers player turned himself in to police after an unidentified woman made the claim on Sunday. Kobe Bryant`s is one of basketball`s biggest stars. Last season he was second highest scorer in the NBA with a career high 30 points a game.The six and a half feet tall guard went onto become the youngest player to reach the 10,000 points mark. District Attorney Mark Hurlbert met with Eagle County Sheriff`s Department officials on Monday (July 7) to discuss the sex allegations against him. He said he needed time to study police reports before deciding whether charges should be filed against Bryant.He hoped to have a decision by the end of the week.

Bryant, who turns 25 next month, is married and has a 6-month-old daughter.

He underwent shoulder surgery last month in New York and may not play for the United States in the Olympic qualifying tournament in August in Puerto Rico, but is expected to be ready by the start of training camp in October.
