Kolkata, July 16: LG Electronics India Pvt Ltd, the market leader in Colour Television segment, today launched three new range of CTVs aiming to retain its position at the top in the domestic market. The company, which recorded a whopping 89 per cent growth during the first half of 2003, launched the new ranges-Cinemax, Joymax deluxe and marquis deluxe - to consolidate its position in the 14-21 inches category.

Cinemax, targeted specifically for the rural, semi-urban market, is priced at Rs 7290 (14 inches) and Rs 9290 (20 inches) while Joymax deluxe comes only in the 14 inches category and is priced at Rs 7690.
The marquis deluxe is priced at Rs 10,490 and Rs 11,490 for 20 and 21 inches category.

Announcing the launch of the new ranges, company product group head C M Singh said "LG is bullish about the CTV market. We have plans to introduce more models at competitive prices during the coming months. We will also focus on the high-end TV range like projection TV sets."
