Indian, Pak troops exchange fire in J-K; intruder killed
Jammu, July 10: A Pakistani intruder was killed as Indian and Pakistani troops exchanged fire in R S Pura sector of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said today.

BSF personnel spotted the intruder around 2300 hours yesterday and asked him to surrender, the sources said adding that the infiltrator started running and simultaneously Pakistani Rangers opened fire.
Indian troops retaliated and in the exchange of fire the intruder was killed, the sources said. They said the intruder seemed to be a spy as nothing was recovered from him.
The body was handed over to police for further investigation, the sources said. Indian and Pakistani forces also fired mortar shells along the Line of Control in Jhangar area of Noushera sector in Rajouri district last night, the sources said.
Sixteen mortar bombs landed on the Indian side without causing any loss of life, they said. Bureau Report
