With tension rising on the Indo-Pak borders, an unprecedented security cover has been thrown around the metropolis even as top police officials on Friday did not rule out that a few fidayeens could have sneaked into the city.

"We have no clue to suggest how many of fidayeens have
sneaked into Mumbai or so. But borders are open they often can come and go", the officials told reporters.
But he assured that the city police had enough "strategy and mechanism" in hand to locate and pick up ultras including those who come prepared for creating terror even at the "cost of killing themselves".
He said in view of the fast changing developments, "security has been tightened in the metropolis". Security arrangements at several vital installations in and around the city have also been beefed up as precautionary measure, he said.
Police sources here maintain that with Pervez Musharraf regime initiating some action against few terrotists' groups, the militants "were not likely to sit idle".
