Dhaka, Feb 24: Indian troops have tried 65 times over the past month to force their own citizens into Bangladesh, officials here alleged today. The Bangladesh Rifles border force said that its Indian counterparts, the border security force, had for the past month tried on average twice a day to push over Indians who speak Bengali.

None of the people were allowed in, but two Bangladeshis have been killed and 100 injured in skirmishes over the porous 4,000-kilometre border, the Bangladesh Rifles said, quoted by the state BSS news agency.
