Agartala, June 14: Two persons were killed and a teenaged boy was kidnapped by insurgents of the banned National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT), in separate incidents in west Tripura district, police said today. Armed NLFT ultras raided Belcherra village last night, shot dead two tribals and fled the spot, the police said.
In another incident, a group of NLFT insurgents raided Balaram Thakur Para village of the same district and kidnapped a 15 year-old boy from his house, they said.
Search operations have been launched to nab the culprits, police added.
