New Delhi: Comedy Nights Bachao (CNB) has had a bevy of Indian celebrities brave some real mean stuff about them and that too on air. The show has always been in news and has seen guests like Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan laugh out loud on hearing some bad jokes about them.
However, if the latest report is anything to go by, then the makers are planning to tone down the content of the show a bit. Reason? Well, many celebrities feel offended by the mean stuff said about them on the show. According to BollywoodLife.com, the makers are even thinking about shutting shops for 'Comedy Nights LIVE', the show which replaced Kapil Sharma's show on the channel.
Reportedly, CNL is not doing that great, so the makers are contemplating over shutting it and toning down the current 'roast' format of 'Comedy Nights Bachao'. The latter has been received well by everyone and that's the reason, it will stay on, reports suggest.
The latest buzz is that guests feel uncomfortable in coming to the show. The report quotes Krushna Abhishek as saying, “We will tone it down (the roast format) if actors are not comfortable. We want them to come on our show. There’s a possibility of shooting an episode with Akshay on August 7 or 14. As for Hrithik, his film is such that it may not jell with our show, so he may not come.”
He even blamed Kapil's team in spreading rumours of CNL shutting down. Krushna said, “Kapil’s team is spreading such news. First they said Bachao is shutting down, but the show is doing good consistently. Now, they are saying Live is shutting down.”
