PM`s economic advisor at helm of Indian delegation to East Asia summit
New Delhi, Oct 12: Economic advisor to the Prime Minister, S Narayan, and member Planning Commission, N K Singh, will lead the Indian delegation to the annual East Asia Economic Summit in Singapore from October 12-14.
New Delhi, Oct 12: Economic advisor to the Prime Minister, S Narayan, and member Planning Commission, N K Singh, will lead the Indian delegation to the annual East Asia Economic Summit in Singapore from October 12-14.
Other members of the delegation would include Sebi chairman G N Bajpai and Joint Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Amitabh Kant, a CII release said here.
A 15-member CII delegation for the summit, organised by the World Economic Forum, would be led by the chamber's past president Jamshyd Godrej.
The summit would be the converging place of international and regional business leaders, government officials and other organisations who would review and address Asia's economy and its future.
Singh and Bajpai would preside over a session on 'Corporate governance: what tasks remain', while Narayan would participate in an interactive session on 'The value of Asian
currencies'.
