London, Feb 08: French Formula One driver Olivier Panis has been discharged from hospital after crashing his Toyota in testing on Thursday in Spain.
''I am feeling pretty good after my crash yesterday,'' said Panis, who escaped unhurt after slamming backwards into tyre barriers at the Circuit De Catalunya.
''Basically I was trying to go through turn three flat out, as I had already done in the morning but as I tried to correct some oversteer, the rear went and that was it,'' he added in a team statement Friday.
Panis, at 37 the oldest driver in the sport, said that despite the accident he was happy with the week's testing.
''The base we have with the TF104 is really good and we know what we need to achieve together to continue to improve the performance,'' he said.

''If we keep working in this direction, I think we are going to be in good shape for Melbourne and I am looking forward to getting back in the car.''
