LA, July 18: Beyonce's "Crazy in Love" featuring Jay-Z has extended its reign on Billboard's singles charts.
Not only is the cut No. 1 on the Hot 100 for the third-straight week, but it also ends the five-week rule of Monica's "So Gone" on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks tally. A retail launch of the single helped propel "Crazy in Love" to the top of the latter chart.
"Crazy in Love," also the Hot 100's fastest-growing track at retail and radio, continues to fend off the advances of Lil' Kim's "Magic Stick" featuring 50 Cent (No. 2), Ashanti's "Rock Wit U (Awww Baby)" (No. 3) and Chingy's "Right Thurr" (No. 4). Newcomer Lumidee sees her "Never Leave You -- Uh Ooh, Uh Ooooh!" soar five spots to No. 5, thanks to a spike in airplay.
Ginuwine's "In Those Jeans" earns a five-notch jump to No. 10 on the Hot 100, which brings it to a new peak position. The song is up on spot to No. 3 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart.
Other songs showing gains on the Hot 100 include Sean Paul's "Like Glue" (30-22), Pharrell's "Frontin"' featuring Jay-Z (41-29), Mya's "My Love Is Like ... Wo" (58-49) and R. Kelly's "Thoia Thoing" (70-53).
The Hot 100's top debut is "Signs of Love Makin"' from Tyrese at No. 69. Also entering this week is the Ataris' remake of Don Henley's "Boys of Summer" at No. 71, Jane's Addiction's "Just Because" at No. 72, Linkin Park's "Faint" at No. 73, Good Charlotte's "Girls and Boys" at No. 75 and Santana's "Why Don't You & I" at No. 77. Lonestar's "My Front Porch Looking In" jumps 2-1 on Billboard's Hot Country Singles & Tracks roundup. The move knocks out "Beer for My Horses," Toby Keith's duet with Willie Nelson, which falls to No. 3 after a six-week run at the top.
The White Stripes log a third-straight week in charge of Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart with "Seven Nation Army," once again leading Jane's Addiction's "Just Because." On the Mainstream Rock Tracks tally, Trapt's "Headstrong" gains 3-1 to end Chevelle's two-week stay at the top with "Send the Pain Below."
