"I don't allow my son to watch television as it gets aggressive to watch at times.

"I am a very protective mother. I would encourage him to watch my upcoming show 'Super Dancer'. This would be his first tryst with television," Shilpa told reporters here today at the launch of the kids dance show.

The 41-year-old actress would be seen as a judge on "Super Dancer".

"There are some wonderful kids who are four-five years old and they are great dancers. I wonder my son is not as good as them. I would not bring him on the show," she said.

Shilpa who herself is a great dancer in real life loves actor Mithun Chakraborty's style of dancing.

"My all time favourite dancer in Bollywood is Sridevi," she added.

Shilpa is known for her suave dance moves on screen but in real life she enjoys 'tapori' style of dance.

"I am a tapori girl. I am from Chembur (in Mumbai) like Anil Kapoor. I like tapori dance more," she added.

"We have some really talented kids on the show. I saw a lot of different dance forms on the show that I had not seen earlier. We are also careful about the language that we use," she adds.

"Kids dance from heart and it just melts you. It's difficult to judge them. I think I will need a psychiatrist after the show," she added.

The "Dhadkan" actress revealed her co-judge director Anurag Basu is a good dancer but he doesn't show anyone his talent.

"In Anurag's films, music is his USP. On the show we have made him dance a lot. Geeta Kapur is a combination of style and dance," she said.

To be aired on Sony Entertainment Television the show will begin from September 10.
