Chennai, June 27: The Tamil Nadu government on Wednesday night announced a series of transfers and postings of IAS officials. An official press release here said the director of the Tamil Nadu industrial guidance and export promotion bureau, n Sundaradevan, would be the new secretary to the government in the revenue department. Sundaradevan would take over from Debendranath Sarangi, who had been transferred and posted as commissioner of commercial taxes. The Additional Commissioner of Industries and Commerce, A S Jeevarathnam, would now function as the Joint Secretary to the government in the agriculture department in place of N D Bharati, the release said.
