Kapil’s team is reportedly taking legal advice to bring back the original characters in new avatars.

Mumbai: Fans of Kapil Sharma are eagerly waiting to see him make a splash on the small screen once again. And the star comedian is doing all what he can to return to television with his team as soon as possible. However, things aren’t going to be easy.

According to a report in DNA, Kapil is working on the characters for his new show but they have to be different from those of ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’.

Ali Asgar as Dadi, Sunil Grover as Gutthi, Kiku Sharda as Palak have won the hearts of audiences. But Kapil doesn’t own the right to represent these characters on his new show.

According to a source, Kapil’s team is reportedly taking legal advice to bring back the original characters in avatars that won’t amount to a breach of contract with the channel that aired ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’.
