Cambridge, Mar 16: I-Vantage, Inc., a Boston-based provider of IT-enabled solutions, today announced its newest Global InServe facility in India. The facility's unveiling is in response to increased demand for I-Vantage's Global InServe services, which allow companies to create their own offshore subsidiaries. The new facility is approximately 10,000 square feet and is capable of housing 100 employees. Demand for the facility was strong, as evidenced by the fact that it was 90 percent pre-leased upon opening and marks the first step for significant expansion in 2004.
"Companies looking for competitive advantages are increasingly seeking offshore options to reduce costs and open new markets," said Amit Maheshwari, CEO of i-Vantage. "Our new InServe center reflects the demand we are experiencing for cost effective, secure, hassle-free creation of offshore subsidiaries. Using our solutions, companies are able to fully compete in global markets by reducing operational costs at home while preserving operational integrity. As a result, they are able to deliver a net job gain in their home market and abroad."
Global InServe enables companies to reduce operational costs while eliminating the traditional challenges associated with deploying and running an offshore operation. In addition, InServe accelerates speed to market and provides a competitive advantage in today's global marketplace. Through the creation of their own subsidiary, i-Vantage customers enjoy much greater access to and security of their intellectual property and proprietary information. "Using Global InServe, we were able to significantly accelerate the timeline for the growth of our company," said Troy Kenyon, CEO at St. Croix Systems Corporation. "Instead of dedicating our time to researching the logistics of creating a subsidiary, and waiting for a facility to be built, we were able to focus our resources on rounding out our product suite and increasing sales. We would not have considered outsourcing without having someone manage this project navigating the local legal, accounting and political systems in India for us."
