A trial bus service between Dhaka and Agartala is likely to begin this month, official sources said in Agartala. The Bangladesh government has agreed to run the bus service on trial basis but the date is yet to be fixed, the sources said.
Earlier, Tripura Government had sent a proposal to Bangladesh Government through the Centre for initiating a trial run between Dhaka and Agartala, the sources said.
Tripura Road Transport Corporation and Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation would sign a treaty on the proposed bus service after the trial service, they added. Bureau Report
