Los Angeles: "Trainwreck" actress Amy Schumer has decided to cut a gun violence scene from her new movie in the aftermath of deadly shooting in Orlando nightclub.
According to E! News, a scene showing someone shooting a gun at people has been axed from the mother-daughter comedy which is yet to be titled.
Schumer, 35, stars in the feature film along with Goldie Hawn and Tom Bateman. They are filming the movie in Hawaii. Fox has announced to release the big screen project for a Mother's Day weekend release on May 12, 2017.
Last year, gun violence happened in a Louisiana theatre during a showing of Schumer's movie "Trainwreck".
"I wish I never wrote that movie. It's like when The Dark Knight shooting happened, and in Paris. The idea of people trying to go out and have a good time - you know, like looking forward to it? - I don't know why that makes me the saddest," she had said.
In October 2015, Schumer joined her cousin, Sen. Chuck Schumer, to raise awareness on gun violence.
The funnywoman also filmed a sketch called "Welcome to the Gun Show" on her show "Inside Amy Schumer" to showed people how easy it was to obtain a gun.
