‘Baar Baar Dekho’: Know what Sidharth Malhotra feels about film’s failure at BO

Mumbai: Debutante director Nitya Mehra’s ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ was one of the most anticipated films of the year. Starring Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif, BBD’s trailer looked promising. Audiences certainly expected something different from the film but unfortunately for the makes, things didn’t work.

Lead actor Sid, who was paired opposite Kat for the first time on screen, isn’t sad because chooses scripts that he believes in.

According to a report in DNA originally attributed to The Quint, Sid said, “The experience has made me more conscious of my future. Had Baar Baar Dekho worked better maybe I wouldn’t be so careful with the modalities of making a film. But I am still going to choose only those scripts that I believe in. I stand by my choices. If I like a script and a role it doesn’t matter how many other actors are there or how many scenes I have. All the films that I’ve done so far tell stories that I want to tell.”
