Disha Patani to play MS Dhoni’s former lady love in biopic

Mumbai: Disha Patani has bagged the role of Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s former girlfriend in a biopic which will see Sushant Singh Rajput playing the World Cup winning India captain.

A report in TOI suggests that the girl was roped in to essay the character as she fits the bill perfectly.

Disha had made her Telugu movie debut last year opposite Varun Tej in a film titled ‘Loafer’.

And now with this Neeraj Pandey film, Disha will mark her Bollywood debut.

Sushant has worked really hard for the film which will retell various phases of Dhoni’s life on celluloid.

The film will release on September 2, 2016.
