Disney has purchased a script by Elizabeth Martin and Lauren Hynek that re-imagines the tale of Hua Mulan, the Chinese cross-dressing warrior heroine from the original film, reported People magazine.

"Mulan" becomes the fourth Disney film to get revived after the hit movies "Maleficent" and "Cindrella", and "Beauty and the Beast", which is set to hit theatres March 17, 2017.
