New Delhi: Super talented Kajol who was last seen in Rohit Shetty's 'Dilwale' is all set for her next untitled film that will start in 2017. Reportedly the 42-year-old actress will be essaying the role of a single mother and is all excited about the same.

Anand Gandhi of the 'Ship of Thesus' fame is working on one of his play's big screen adaptation that will feature Kajol in the lead. Produced by Ajay Devgn, the 'Ship of Thesus' helmer has also co-written the screenplay for the film.

"He (Anand Gandhi) will not be directing the film, he has written it (story). We are still in scripting stage, final scripting is going on. I am playing a single mother in this film. It's a nice story and I am excited about this role," Kajol told PTI.

In real life, the 42-year-old actress is a mother of two children.
