New Delhi: After Shahid Kapoor's 'Udta Punjab' got itself in the trouble waters with CBFC – this news comes as a respite to all Salman Khan fans.
Salman Khan's upcoming biggie 'Sultan' has been cleared by CBFC with absolutely zero cuts! Yes, that's a darn great news to be happy about indeed!
According to a report in Bollywoodlife.com, a source from CBFC was quoted as saying, “We found not a word or a shot that needed to be cut.Salman Khan has always been part of films that cater to the entire family. Sultan is his most family-oriented film in years.” However, the film has been granted a ‘UA’ in spite of the CBFC’s clean chit. This, say sources, is in keeping with the ‘violent spirit’ of wrestling.
'Sultan' is helmed by director Ali Abbas Zafar and also stars Anushka Sharma. The movie is set to release on Eid this year.
