Karan Johar to launch THIS star kid in Hindi remake of Marathi blockbuster ‘Sairat’

Mumbai: Karan Johar had launched Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra in ‘Student of the Year’ about four years back. And now, if rumours are anything to go by, then the producer-director is planning to introduce a star kid through his film which would be a Hindi remake of Marathi blockbuster ‘Sairat’

Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor has been roped in by KJo for the aforementioned film, reports suggest. The flick is scheduled to go on floors next year, reports DNA.

Media has been abuzz with speculations about Janhvi’s launch pad. She is one of the most popular star kids who is yet to begin her career in acting. The young girl has inherited the gorgeous looks of her mother and is all set to follow in her footsteps.

However, there has been no official confirmation about Jahnvi’s role in the film or the project as a whole. Moreover, there is no news about the casting of the film’s male lead.

The original film featuring Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar was a massive hit. Interestingly, Sairat was their debut film!
