Oops! Did 'Padmavati' Deepika Padukone refuse to work with a television actor?

New Delhi: So, we all know by now that the gorgeous Deepika Padukone will be next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's yet another classic tale from the historic past 'Padmavati', where she is playing the lead role.

The rumours are abuzz that Ranveer Singh will be playing Sultan Alauddin Khilji, who is an obsessed lover. According to Pinkvilla.com, the real trouble for the filmmakers seems to be in finding an actor to play the part of Deepika's husband Raja Rawal Ratan Singh.

The report states that apparently Dippy and Ranveer are not going to share any scenes together on-screen whereas she shares some intimate scenes with the husband, so someone equally good has to be signed.

Also, the report quotes a source as saying that initially a television actor was to be signed for the part, but Dippy didn't approve of it, as she wants a bigger star to play her on-screen husband.

Now, who will play her on-screen Raja in Padmavati remains to be seen?
