According to Hindi film critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh, the movie only managed to collect Rs 2.20 crore on Friday. Shocking, isn't it?

"#Mirzya has a SHOCKINGLY LOW start... Records DISMAL figures on Day 1... Fri ₹ 2.20 cr. India biz," he tweeted.

The film tells Mehra's take on the folklore of Mirza-Sahiba.

Saiyami spent close to three years working on this film with Harshvardhan, who is the son of veteran actor Anil Kapoor. The film was released on October 7.
