New Delhi: Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu who has turned heads with her terrific show in her upcoming movie 'Pink' trailer is basking in appreciation for the same.
Sharing the screen space with legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee earlier expressed that she was not nervous at all to work with the meagstar, was rather excited.
Talking about outsiders in Bollywood, Pannu thinks that people who hail from a non-filmy background don’t get a "second chance".
According to a report in IANS, Taapsee was quoted as saying, "When your first film releases, the kind of offers that you get will be quite a lot because Industry is so big but how many of them are worth picking up and how many of them will get made is all that matters in shaping your career. There is no dearth of work,".
"As an outsider there is no dearth of work but the only problem is you will not get a second chance if you go wrong. You have to keep proving yourself again and again," she added.
"I didn't know that Amitabh Bachchan was part of this film initially. I said yes to the film the minute I read the script. It was such an engaging story. It feels great and I feel honoured that I was approached for this film. I can't say that this will be a turning point in my career but yes it's a step higher for me," she said.
'Pink' receiving rave reviews for an amazing trailer is all set to release on September 16.
