Shah Rukh Khan doesn’t want to work with Sonam Kapoor?

Mumbai: Sonam Kapoor doesn’t believe in mincing her words. During an interview with a web portal recently, Sonam reportedly said, “I don’t think Shah Rukh wants to work with me”, and we are sure you must be wondering where did this come from!

On being asked why she hasn’t worked with SRK yet despite being in the industry for almost a decade, Sonam said that the superstar probably doesn’t want to work with her.

According to a report in India.com, originally attributed to the web portal, Sonam said, “There have been so many opportunities where I could have worked with him but nothing materialised. I wanted to work with him and I reached out to him as well. But I never got the opportunity. I guess it will happen whenever he feels like working with me.”

“What happens in the film industry is that an actor decides whether an actress should do a film with him or not. So when he (SRK) wants to work with me, it will happen but I don’t think he’s wanted to work with me till now, ” Soam added.

Ouch! That was blunt enough to send across a very “loud” message.

Shah Rukh has worked with actresses from Sonam’s age group. He launched Deepika Padukone with Farah Khan’s ‘Om Shanti Om’ and interestingly, the ‘Piku’ star and Sonam made their debut on the same day. Besides Deepika, SRK has shared screen space with Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
