Shreyas Talpade wants to change the title of his upcoming movie `Pratichhaya`! - Details inside
Now, it would be really interesting to see if the filmmakers are actually willing to change the title on Talpade`s request.
New Delhi: Apparently, Bollywood actor Shreyas Talpade is not happy with the title of his upcoming film 'Pratichhaya'. The 40-year-old star has even asked his director and producer to consider other titles as well.
"Honestly I had loved the name 'Mirror Image'. Then I was a little okay with the name 'Parchayee' and I am not okay with the name 'Pratichhaya', at all!" he said.
When the film was being shot, its working title was narrowed down to 'Mirror Image' followed by 'Parchayee'. But, in the end, 'Pratichhaya' was registered as the final title by the makers.
" We had already looked for different titles like Mirror image, Parchayee. But they are all booked by other producers. There was one title which we considered, that was, ‘Aks’. But there already is a movie there by that name. So the entire unit didn’t want to repeat it. So the only title which was left with this concept of mirror image or reflection was Pratichhaya, which actually is a Sanskrit title," said director Mukesh Jadhav.
He added, "title change or anything like that has to be done with the permission of the producer and at the same time with the permission of the film production unions."
Now, it would be really interesting to see if the filmmakers are actually willing to change the title on Talpade's request.
