Tim Burton's 'Alice in Wonderland' to screen in London

Los Angeles: Filmmaker Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland" will be screened at London's Royal Albert Hall, with Danny Elfman's score being performed by a live orchestra and choir.

Royal Albert Hall announced that it will on December 12 offer a "Disney in Concert" event that will screen "Alice in Wonderland", said The Hollywood Reporter.

The event is part of the venue's popular "Live Score" series that screens films with the soundtrack being played live.

Its most recent such event was "Frozen: Live in Concert" last week. "This is a first for Alice in Wonderland," a spokeswoman said.

The 2010 fantasy film was written by Linda Woolderton.

It sees a 19-year-old Alice (Mia Wasikowska) return to the world she first entered as a child.

The film includes such beloved characters as the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp), the White Queen (Anne Hathaway), the Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter) and the White Rabbit (Michael Sheen).
