New Delhi: Upcoming Bollywood movie 'Udta Punjab' that hogged the limelight for quite some time, struggled for its release.
The movie topped headlines last week for the ongoing fight of producer Anurag Kashyap with the Censor Board.
Pahlaj Nihalani-- the current head of Central Board of Film Certification of India, subjected 'Udta Punjab' starring Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Kareena Khan with 89 cuts.
Dissatisfied with the decision, Kashyap took the matter further and fought for his film to be passed without minimum cuts.
'Udta Punjab', later was cleared by Bombay HC only to land in a much thicker soup.
According to the latest report in Bollywoodlife, Abhishek Chaubey's controversial movie has been leaked online. As shocking as it could be, the movie is leaked online before its theatrical release.
The movie was slated to hit the silver screens on June 17, 2016.
While the makers and actors were rejoicing the High Court's final decision, the internet flooded with the news of movie's leak.
Fans on social media platform Twitter posted pictures from the leaked movie. The struggle for makers is real and unfortunate.
