Avril Lavigne, Chad Kroeger show affection at pre-Grammy party

Los Angeles: Exes Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger showed affection for one another while attending a pre-Grammy party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California.

The "Wish You Were Here" singer and the Nickelback frontman proved it wrong that exes couldn't have a great relationship, reported Aceshowbiz. The two seemed to be in good spirits as they're all smiles while posing side by side for photographers.

At one point on the red carpet, Lavigne was seen placing her hand on Kroeger's stomach while he put his arm around her.

The 31-year-old songstress opted for a feminine look wearing a sheer black skirt and a long sleeve lace top which she paired with matching pointed heels. Meanwhile, Kroeger looked dapper donning a black shirt under a black blazer which he left open.

While inside the venue, Lavigne sat next to him and took photos together. She later uploaded the photos on Instagram and captioned one of the pictures, "Grammy Party..... Feeling great. Lovely night."

Lavigne and Kroeger announced their separation back in September 2015. The couple decided to split after two years of marriage. The reason of their split was unclear, but the two remain good friends until now.

Others celebrities who attended the event were Miranda Kerr, Zayn Malik, Chrissy Teigen and husband John Legend among others.
