Los Angeles: Singer Rihanna has given new updates on her eighth studio album, which is tentatively titled "R8", saying it will be "something great".
The "Diamonds" hitmaker, who has graced the cover of NME's new free magazine, has revealed how far she is from finishing the anticipated record. She has teased that the project will be worth the long wait, reports aceshowbiz.com.
"To me, it's never done until it's done," she tells the magazine.
She goes on to promise "something great" from the album because she knows there have been millions of fans eagerly waiting for it.
"No matter what I post online, within three comments there's somebody saying, 'Where is R8?'" she continues.
"I could post anything. Nothing else matters. They don't care about anything but that. But it makes me excited, because I can't wait to give them something great."
"R8" will be Rihanna's first full-length since 2012's "Unapologetic".
